When you think about birds you might be picturing a cute robin in your yard at Christmas time, or a regular pigeon or something like that. Nothing too threatening to say the least. But there’s a lot more to birds than robins, pigeons or chickens. A little known fact about birds is that they are the descendants of the Tyrannosaurus rex! While a lot of them have definitely chilled out since the Jurassic days, there are plenty of birds out there who still have the attitude of a T Rex. And you don’t want to mess with them. From the enormous condor to the symbol of American pride, here’s 20 Dangerous Birds You Should Run Away From

Condors don't hunt lions, on account of (a) lions live in Africa and condors live in south America and (b) condors are vultures and rely on someone else to do the actual killing. Also the second clip in the first section is of Californian not Andean condors.

A condor would never hunt a lion, as the thumbnail would have you believe. In fact, many of these birds on this list are not “dangerous” to humans because they would never attack, unless threatened.

What About The Harpy Eagle?

It is the biggset eagle specie in the world and I'm sure it's also the most dangerous.

Then we also have the ostrich.

Birds are NOT descended from T-Rex. They are descended from the same class of dinosaur but are very distantly related. About as far as a human from a camel. Most of the birds here are hardly dangerous apart from the cassowary. The Australian magpie (unrelated to Eurasian magpies) can become very aggressive during nesting making screaming swoops on passersby, particularly cyclists. They have a large dagger of a beak and can be very threatening and have been recorded to draw blood a number of times. As they are found continent-wide, all Australians know them and spring nesting season can be a trial in some places, mostly high population density areas. A medium sized bird, a bit smaller than a crow, they regularly attack any raptors and can, in pairs, harry and chase off Australia's biggest eagles. Oddly they can become very tame and friendly if a territorial pair in your area are fed tidbits regularly, and they will turn up and warble and carol very pleasantly to let you know. If you feed them, and they know you they will never swoop.

Birds are not descendants of T. rex. The fossil record links birds to small dinosaurs, not that particularly large species. What is with the pronunciation of "Garnet"?j The word is gannet (no r). Why insert a sound recording of a Peregrine Falcon during the Osprey segment? Lots of misplaced film or wrong species shown in this video. Should not compare Loon to "other ducks". Loons are not ducks.

The Glaswegian Bird can be one of the most vicious birds on the planet especially when under the influence of alcohol so it is widely regarded best to stay well away from them on a Friday or Saturday night.
They can have huge nails and will burst the skin if provoked.
