The pigling character is from Minecraft legends, cos the movies combines things from Minecraft Dungeons and Legends as well as the base game.

Like the whole plot with the piglings in this movie is littrelly the plot of Legends, and then it just has the Orb of dominance from Minecraft Dungeons randomly in there for some reason making the main villian a combination of the villen from dungeons and legends, cos the arch illager also has a simlar sobby backstory, and eventually finds the orb of dominance.

Another reference some people didn’t really know about is when the pig with a crown walks by and the boy said “is that a king” and jack goes “no..that’s a legend” referring to techno blade also
