How To Fold A Fitted Sheet - THE EASIEST AND QUICKEST WAY!

Folding a fitted sheet is an elusive skill that - once mastered - will allow you to impress your family, your friends, even your crush or your future mother-in-law. It's that good.

The slight hiccup is that folding a fitted sheet is just not that intuitive. We've practiced (and practiced) and put together the simplest version of folding a fitted sheet that there is.

Truth Bomb: It’s probably going to take you at least two - maybe three - views of this video (and maybe some pausing) to get a hang of this.

Here are the basic instructions:

1. Start with the sheet longest side of the sheet facing you and put your hands inside the corners
2. Now take the two corners and turn them inside out. Switch the sheet around so the elastic is facing you and your hands are back in the corners of the sheet but now you can see the seam
3. Now take your right hand and bring it over to your left hand, touching the two corners of the sheets together and essentially giving yourself a high five
4. Flip the right-hand corner over the left-hand corner so now everything is on your left hand
5. Straighten the edges with your right hand
6. Bring your right hand under the sheet and swap hands so now your left hand is free
7. Now locate the final corner of the sheet - you’ll need to wiggle around a little to match up the seams. Both of your hands should now be in corners again
8. Go ahead and place the sheet on the bed. When you put it down, make sure the elastic is creating an upside down U shape and you see the rough outline of four corners as well. Feel free to work the edges so they become more square-like
9. Take the side of the sheet that’s opposite you - should be the long side - and fold it down one third, then another third. Adjust and smooth as you go to avoid wrinkles
10. Then flip the sheet over and fold it in thirds again
11. Do a happy dance because YOU DID IT!
