As a Raider fan, I always campaigned for Sterling Sharpe to be in the Hall of Fame because when I watched about his highlights, he was absolutely a great wide receiver. Anyone who lived and loved football during that time knows Sterling Sharpe. He was absolutely the best in the league for 5-6 years. I was just a young kid when he got hurt and it stuck with me forever. One of the first moments in my life seeing someone I thought was infallible have their career cut short. Really glad he’s getting honored.
