The single stroke roll is a paradox.  It is the easiest rudiment to learn, but the hardest one to play well.  Left, right left, right - what could be easier?  That is, until you play it at higher tempos.  The challenge is not only to go fast, but smoothly and consistently as well.  This is a great aid buy the way. To those of you with burning arms - that is entirely normal.  Just be careful not to injure yourselves by overdoing it. :)   I barely reached platinum - I have much work to do!

Bout level 1 diamond for me on this one. Mostly perfect. Gets a little sloppy after that. These are the best rudiment exercises ive I've ever seen. It's like a game. This needs to be an app.

Day 1 : Gold 2👌.
Day 2 : Gold 3 but wasn't smooth at first.
Day 3 : Platinum 1👌. Struggling to keep up with Platinum 2.
Day 4 : A little less struggle with Platinum 2.
Day 5 & 6 : Still working on Platinum 2. Noticing better grip on my weaker hand.
Day 7 : Finally nailed Platinum 2!🤩

Play along this Twice a day as far as you can -to supercharge you hands! ( I also recommend students slow it down to 50%-75% to practice for a longer time)
