I didn’t need this but I was curious about if there was an easier way to what I did.
I must say if this is what all of your tutorials are like they’re the best steamdeck tutorials on the platform. You clearly explain everything and take enough time so everyone knows what to do but also doesn’t over explain everything. Keep these up! Will definitely be coming here for any future tutorials

UPDATE - 5/7/2024 - A new update was just issued for ZZZ, I am pleased to confirm that the game works with 0 issues.

- Launch ZZZ from Gaming Mode and let the client update, then Play Game.

- On the login screen, be patient and let it update, once complete go through to the game as normal. ❤

Great tutorial. They seriously need to bring HOYO games to Steam. No reason for Epic Games to get these titles and not Steam. The same for Wuthering Waves.

You should do more videos like this. Show us how to install emulators and other games. This is the best tutorial I have ever watched. Most are super long and will tell you to do a step but then not show you where or what it looks like.

For anyone that's struggling to launch the launcher installer. Swap to pro 7.0 not experimental. This may help you out.

Yes! Managed to get it worked.
Even better if you got ZZZ installed on pc you could just copy the file and find the game on the launcher.
Esp if you’re tight on free space.
I’m copying the zenless game folder into launcher location and putting it into “game” subfolder. It detects automatically when im downloading a patch.

Haven’t tinker with the setting, controller hasn’t work (prolly gonna change it from home screen in game to controller)

After looking at a dozen install guides, THIS IS THE ONE if you're installing the game on a *LINUX PC*. I'm running Steam on Manjaro Linux and I play Elden Ring, Elden Ring Co-op Mod, Forza Horizon 5, Lords of the Fallen, Monster Hunter, Snowrunner, and a bunch of other games WITHOUT Lutris or any other launcher.

Btw, small heads up if the game keeps on crashing randomly during play and force you to reboot the Steam Deck, you can mitigate this by increasing pagination file on the steam deck to allocate more memory in disk to spare the ram.

thank you for the video. I was able to follow the instruction and complete the installation on my Steam Deck. I now link my Steam deck to my main account on my PS5 so I don’t have to start over again. At least, I’m still trying to link my Steam deck to my PS5. It is awesome. Now I can play this game when I am in bed. Thank you.

Update: I’m able to link my Steam deck account to my PS5. So I am good.

Coming from windows, how does the steam deck behave, when I want to install both Genshin and Zenless Zone zero? Will they share a file folder?
If not, do you have tip or guide how to install both on one steam deck without the hoyoplay launcher running into probelms?
