Season 3 Jungle - The Fragile One (Nautilus)

Sucks that I have to do this but I hope people keep in mind that my opinion on the jungle and everything changes the more I tried out the characters. These are all live recordings and thus my opinions are unedited.

Season 3 Jungle - Day 1 Summary

Runes for nautilus : attack speed reds, flat armour yellow, magic resist per level blues, movespeed quints
Masteries: either 9/21/0 if you wanna build spirit of the spectral wraith for some damage, or 0/21/9 for increased movespeed and tankiness

Taking one point in E. By the time you get to red Buff, Your W will negate most of the damage dealt by red allowing you to then double buff and gank. Most safest, easy to clear, fastest and reliable way to clear jungle with nautlilus.

Boots aren't necessary or even a strong starting item anymore. Machete is downright needed on Fiddlesticks. These small screw ups don't amount to much.

I just went through with nautlilus and tried every single combination of jungle. Starting items. Every combination you can think of. The best outcome you can have with jungle nautilus AND THIS IS THE BEST OUTCOME.
Is this..
Blue buff, Wolves, Wraiths, Golems, Red buff.
Total clear time 4:04, no pot's remaing. Half/3 quarter health Left. (WITHOUT LEASH)
With leash you will be totally fine no matter what..
The reason it's golems then red buff.
Is becuase once you clear golems, you level 3. Max W

They might not want to. Everyone is getting +25 base MS, and boots are losing that 25 MS. It is now perfectly fine to not start boots, because the benefit they offer for that much gold is now potentially less than a Doran's, some resistances, or some damage.

They've actually changed doran's items. They now have new unique passives, like doran's shield blocks 6 damage, doran's blade gives back 5 health whenever you auto attack an enemy. In certain games things like this could make the survivability of boots 3 pots less efficient (although I haven't seen it in action yet)

Every one with the boots comments. You realize that there have been move speed changes. Everyone starts out with 25 more and boots give 25 less. This is a HUGE incentive to no longer start boots. You now need the blade inorder to clear faster on EVERYONE now.

Machete give you +10% damage and +10 true damage to your auto attacks to jungle monsters.Since they have been made into damage sponges, you're forced to get this item for optimum clear, they might be doing a bit more damage but it isn't significant.Not only that but the gold is pretty much the same, but it is said it picks up as the game goes on.And to compensate for no start with boots, every champ has recieved a +25 movement speed buff, to compensate for the nerfed boots(+25 MS, old ones were +50),

Stonewall, it's not just the masteries for you improved MS in season 3. Everyone got a 25 MS buff, but t1 boots was reduced to 25 MS from like 40 or 50 previously.

I assume you meant Nautilus as fiddle doesn't require the machete;amp tome +1 mana pot is fine. Start on blue and with a leash that goes down pretty damn fast. Then W + E + 2AA's kills all wolves, this is a similar story when you're fighting the wraiths:they go down fast, kill golems. Drain big one - dark wind big one - 2 AA's kills him. Have W hovered over other golem ctrl+W Rank it up, cast it. Clear Red, wraiths + wolves. Done relatively fast - now if they lack jungler can grab their blue.

Thanks for doing these videos, I have always thought you were the "jungle clear guy" seeing as you always come out with clear videos whenever a new champion comes out. However, I would really appreciate it if you did this video without the leash. I understand the argument that he would have needed a leash in season 2, yet your season 2 clear with him didn't have a leash.

For science, please be consistent with these videos, otherwise they won't prove much.
