Gone in 60 Seconds - Official Movie Trailer

Gone In 60 Seconds is a remake of the 1974 B-movie of the same title. Although the original is considered an action thriller featuring a tire screeching forty minuet car chase, this remake puts more emphasis on the stealthy acquisition of exotic and collector cars. Randall "Memphis" Raines (Nicolas Cage) is a retired car thief who broke away from this career while still being regarded as the best in the field. Mempis' little brother, Kip (Giovanni Ribisi) attempts to follows in his footsteps and takes an order he cannot fill and Memphis is forced out of retirement to save Kip from a very bad situation. Memphis must assemble a skilled team of car thieves and steal fifty costly cars within a very short period of time and such is the basis of the movie. Detectives Castlebeck (Delroy Lindo) and Drycoff (Timothy Olyphant) are aware of Memphis history and are highly suspicious at discovering Memphis is back in town. Memphis reunites with his long lost girl friend and fellow car thief, Sway (Angelina Jolie) which creates a mild element of romance. The movie showcases several premium automobiles which should appeal to the car enthusiast.
