Hey Matt, thanks for the great review, if I'm mainly winging and I have the MA 1000 and 1225 is there good reason to have a new HA? I'm around 70 kilos, intermediate level.

Matt great review! I think you have ridden the Axis Spitfires. How would you compare say the 1100 SF to the 1180 HA in terms of glide, low end stall speed, turning, ease of pumping and getting up on foil in light wind conditions (WF). Thanks.

Thanks for the review mate. I think you are much more talented than you think and could probably size down to the ha980 in these conditions and use that also for lightwind winging. I found for winging and pumping there’s no need to go bigger than ma1225, the 980 should be even easier and thats my choice anyway at 82kg and less experience than you. Demoed the 880 winging last week and was blown away by the pumping.👍Waiting for that new wingboard on water review.

Nice ride! I’m 215lbs. Live in the gorge and looking to wing upwind and ride the swell back down. Will the 1180 be big enough? How about the dwp930? Would the 930 be big enough? Thanks

lovely to see the carving of small waves on FOIL - definitely on my to do list... - so silly question but why not just bring a small kite like a Code Zero along? I am biased to kiting, but just seems like a NO BRAINER vs. trying to hold a wing over your head or bothering to paddle and pump - just ride and then grab some kite when you need it? What am I missing???🪁

Would the 1080 work for winging and prone? Or would an MA be a better wing for both disciplines? Currently considering the 1225 ma

@real sold the ma1750 and 1225 and want to purchase the new ha. Have and will keep the ma800 and ma1000. Want to use a ha1180 for dw runs can't decide to go for a 880 or 980 for sup/prone wave foiling and light wind winging. Used the ma1225 als light wind wingfoil. My weignt is 170lbs got al stabs to pair with 140 180 205 220 and 235. Grtz

How did you get up on foil there? Paddle?

Sure 👎🏽 it does everything well like every other Armstrong foil e.g apf from 3 months back and MAs from 6 months back!!

What a bunch of subjective fluff. Why not give some objective data or use more technical terms? For example, if you are saying that It has a lower stall speed, tell us what lift coefficient it will produce before stalling. I hate the way you take liberty to make up terms to describe the performance of these foils. There are technical terms to describe how a foil performs.
