My first rental property. Lucky I inhertied a property so that was great. I put one tenate in it and for the first 6 months it was great. Rent was coming in on time the cash flow gave me a sense of accomplishment and built my confidence up into rental realesate. But those 6 months were short lived as the tenate stopped paying and gave me such a headache and so much time was lost. But I did learn from my mistakes and this second time around will be different. Never give up and never give in.

The majority of incorporated businesses do not turn a topline profit of any kind at all for two years, and don't turn a bottom line profit until the end of year three or four. Most businesses fail specifically because people quit their jobs to go all in on the business without having access to enough assets or income to provide for themselves while the company goes through its operating at a loss stage.

Relaxing is not researching business ideas, you still need time to mentally wind down otherwise you burn out then you can’t put proper effort into your business regardless. Yes utilise your time better but create a healthy work/life balance to maintain mental, physical and emotional health too.
