Australia batted 100 overs in ranchi to draw aganist India and here 140 overs to draw. But haters often says Australia poor aganist asia. I agree Australia struggled from 2013-16 in sub continent after that they are the only team to beat India in India in a test since 2012, draw aganist Bangladesh and a gritty draw aganist Pak in Dubai without Smith and warner.
And one interesting fact is that if we exclude India in every subcontinent series (2-0 loss in 2014 vs Pak, 3-0 loss vs SL in 2016, 1-1 draw vs ban and finally 1-0 loss aganist Pakistan in 2018) Australia lost toss and batted second.

Why was the match called off before the last ball is bowled? The batsman might have got run out in a No-ball and the last batsman might have got out in the last ball. A match should not be called off till there is a remote chance of result.

What I only understand is (correct me if I’m wrong) that this seems to be day 5 of a Test Cricket match and the result is a draw.

1. Why is Team AUS celebrating a drawn match?
2. Why don’t they finishing bowling the last ball in the over?
3. Why do many fielders stand so close to the centre?
