Love the videos. Your screen recordings are so contrasty though I must say. Makes it kinda hard to get the most out of the breakdown. Do you intentionally up the contrast to stop them being flagged for copyright?

Do you think you'll cover Netflix's Ripley? It was beautifully shot. Watched with my girlfriend who doesn't study cinematography and we both kept commenting on it. Very clearly a lot of painterly inspirations all throughout. Highly recommend!

Where to stop? Stop when you have to learn by drawing lines and circles on other people's work and stills. This sketching over others work is silly simplification of work that needs more than just this much of thought put into it on set.
