Season 1 has such good atmosphere. Just wish they actually used more time going into detail about it all. Cause it turned into TWD real real quick

Should have kept this going for a couple seasons. Turned into the TWD so fast you forget how good the first few episodes were. Seeing society breakdown is way scarier then watching a ground of survivors battle walkers in a forest.

The clock ticking in the music from 0:00 to 0:50, it really adds to the anxiety and dread it makes you feel. It’s like a reminder that there is barely any time left of human civilisation

2:30 the way Madison looks at Tobias looks like she was thinking, "Damn, maybe he was right after all."

Like in the scenes, the one moment you're in school, everything is boring, teacher is lecturing, texting, you get scolded for having your phone out.

The next day, suddenly all of that ceases to exist.

What makes TWD universe depressing to me is that its exaclty like ours, same movies, same games, history, celebrities, minus zombie culture, etc. Almost the entire world died in 2010 and never got to see the world advance past that. Most of us in the comment section are probably long dead.

March 14. That was when I last went to school. They shut down all schools across the entire country on March 16. Some of my friends didn't come to lectures and lab classes. That was the last time since last year I went downtown without a mask.

Zombie films
/televisions series are MUCH BETTER when it is about the outbreak, not about the post apocalyptic setting. The zombie designs are much better since they still look like people and not some kid’s halloween costume, the tensions are nice, the breakdown of characters the whole thing. I dont get why many filmmakers prefer the post apocalyptic aspects of a zombie setting.

Sad thing is they nailed some scenes, but ultimately were in such a rush to unleash more bizarre TWD plot lines they rushed by the outbreak.
