I Can't Believe This Exists! The REAL Triple Monitor Laptop

Linus Tech Tips showed off the supposed REAL triple monitor laptop setup a few years ago, but it never got out of Kickstarter. I have the real thing right here and it's for sale right now! This is a review of the Xebec Tri-Screen 2 and spoiler alert; it's awesome.

This triple monitor setup work with Apple, Microsoft and Linux, and any other OS that can make use of multiple monitors. This is easily the best work from home setup upgrade you'll ever make!

1920*1200 is actually basically 1920*1080 with a TALLER, not wider aspect ratio - it is 16:10 instead of 16:9.

£360 is a pretty good price, I was expecting somewhere like £600-700 maybe even pushing a grand.

Happy Saturday everyone! Before anyone kicks off that Amazon has cheaper options, I confronted Xebec about them a couple days ago, and they've been very open about their competition. Xebec are a US company that have suffered with the usual cloning troubles that come from succeeding in a market such as this. They responded to me with some specifics regarding the build quality and I've included them below...

"Their product weighs over 50% more than ours
Their product has 150% larger bezels resulting in a clunky and unsightly design
Their product requires 5x longer cables making for a drastically messier setup
Their clamping mechanism only fits 13-15" laptops, where ours will fit 12"-20" laptops
Their clamping mechanism was poorly designed and does not have enough depth to attach to a laptop with a touchscreen, case, or thicker housing
Their product does not work with M1 Macbook Pro and Air laptops
They DO NOT offer any post purchase product support"

Fun fact.. my first interaction with IBM compatible 8086 machines was on my father's Xebec IBM PC XT AT compatible machine a lifetime ago. Its surprising to see this name still being stickered on any product... I am not sure if that Xebec has any bearing with the Xebec company this laptop was manufactured by, but it sure brings back memories

These look amazing, I edit on my laptop as well at work on night shifts and these would be perfect, I also game on my laptop but it is an MSI GT75 Titan so has the power. Wonder what they would look like next to a 17" laptop screen.

Brilliant, the mid episode advert is for Duex Plus dual monitor laptop, not sure if it's a great or terrible place to put on advert in a video for a triple screen laptop!

This looks to be an interesting product and it fits right into my need for multiple screens for editing. The one issue is that I already have an ASUS ZenBook UX581 with an extra monitor built right in. Albeit, the primary monitor is a full 4k while the secondary (just north of the keyboard) is 3840x1100, but it works really well for putting the menus and docks in the secondary and using the primary for the timeline and video. In fact, with the 3840 horizontal resolution I can easily divide that secondary screen into two 1920x1100 windows. (It's a good thing my vision is still near 20-20 though. They're tinier than those winged monitors in the Xebec product.)
Anyway, this product looks awesome and would surely be in my list of next-to-buys if I didn't already have something that works well for that purpose.
