I don’t even see why people hate on this movie so much because it wasn’t even terrible like people say it is. It’s like they put so much effort into making it visually stunning that they didn’t give the plot enough love or attention, you can tell by all these Easter eggs and references. Besides that part I thought it was a pretty solid movie, it can be quite enjoyable through most of it besides some parts of the basic plot.

I just noticed Elemental has some similarities with Encanto. Hear me out. In both movies, the two main families move to a new place where they settle in a new home (in encanto it's the casita, and in elemental the fireplace). Both patriarcs prioritize the well being of the place they live in even before family .In both movies there's a symbolic object that they're trying to protect (the candle and the blue flame) The climax in both movies happens after an argument. and finally, Both places get destroyed. See the similarities
