Actually they don’t need to call the CEO up here. They can do all the talkings by themselves

What can they "hear" in this hearing if they dont even let the man speak?? Themselves talk? 😂

Asks like a 5 minute question, expects a 1 second answer.😂

Let the dude speak. These politicians only want to hear themselves talk.

Why ask a question if you don’t want him to answer? He just interrupted him and was rude the entire time? Nothing was learned about how Tik Tok operates during this line of questioning.

Bill Johnson made me laugh when he said that it is a Federal Crime to lie to Congress. I guess He lives under a rock because all the testimony I’ve ever witnessed from people brought before Congress is riddled with lies and there is never any accountability for it. Prove me wrong!

There are so many questions in this world but many aren't yes or no answers.

It sickens me to see someone asked a question and then try to talk over the answer

If only congress held each other this accountable

Even if they allow him to speak, I really don't think they would actually understand. They've been in their own little bubble with companies that sponsor them, and have ignored the ordinary citizens concerns about healthcare, education, wages, and infrastructure.

Dude's been asking long tedious questions for like 1 hr and only expected 1 word from the man. Lovely lol🤣

Why are all these Congress people not allowing TikTok CEO to answer their questions? Kept interrupting him and after that it’s “time’s up”.

Bill Johnson asks him a question with a "why?", Then switches it to a yes or no question before the CEO could even finish a word.
What kind of Congress is this? If TikTok goes down, there will be another app that'll bring the people together. We all want peace, and want to relate in a more positive lifestyle, but these twats just want us to feel like we about to die every single day, and it's getting really old.

He’s more interested to hear himself than the answerer. What a let down.

as a Computer Science Major, working in the software field... everything this "information technologist" says make me cringe. if any one refers to code as "ones and zeros" the last thing they've seen must have been assembly language.

We need a age cap for Congress, the House, and especially the WH.

How is this ethical? When the prosecutors are literally putting words in the ceos mouth and heavily using assumptions

This is the FIRST TIME I've ever seen someone in one of these circus sideshow level hearings be willing to talk and respond and answer questions, and they keep cutting him off and talking over him.

This committee can't seem to stay in their lane. At one time: "Why aren't you censoring this dangerous information?" and then 5 minutes later "How dare you censor what people post!!"

When it comes to China they try to show how smart and confident they are.

Why don’t they deal Internal US issue with same confidence and enthusiasm??

The hypocrisy of our government getting mad at China for spying through social media is jarring af. That and i wish he would’ve let the CEO finish a sentence so I could form an unbiased opinion.
