TRT World - Interview with Eloise Bertrand on Burkina Faso election

Eloise is a PhD candidate in politics and international studies at the University of Warwick working on political opposition in hybrid regimes, focusing on sub-Saharan Africa. She holds an MSc in African Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies and has worked extensively in West Africa (Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Togo and Mali) for Search for Common Ground and Y Care International, primarily on initiatives to promote peace-building, justice and youth engagement. She is fluent in French and English and has been published in Africa in Fact Magazine and African Arguments on democratic movements in Burkina Faso. Eloise is based in Bukavu, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and travels regularly to East and West Africa
