mmWave Permittivity Reference Material Development Project Call for Participation(May 5, 2022)

The goal of iNEMI’s mmWave Permittivity Reference Material Development project is to develop and characterize suitable reference material(s) for consistent Df/Dk measurement methodologies to characterize ultra-low loss laminate materials in the range of 30–100GHz.
There are currently no traceable permittivity reference materials at any frequency, and a previous iNEMI project identified this lack of materials as a serious problem, making verification of measurement methods and laboratory techniques virtually impossible in an industry setting.
