Thank you. It use to be much simpler but for some asinine reason Microsoft removed the refresh feature from task manager.

So for anyone wondering, this process will not break your pc. It's basically restarting your taskbar. No data is lost and it fixed my issue. Thank You @The Geek page

Thanks This Truly helps! I watched so many videos and nothing fixing my issue. I would see the speaker icon but when I clicked on it it nothing happened, not allowing me to change from my headset to speaker. I panicked a bit when everything despaired but as soon as i stated the new task everything was good.
