Its just a computer with GPIO pins. Try to do projects with ESP32 boards. They are less powerful and more fun to do, because it forces you to program efficiently. That would be cool.

Have my pi 4 8gb for years now. Mainly for pihole and file server. Never played with camera though. Maybe I should haha
