Hey guys, in this video, I show you how to download DeSmuME 0.9.8, how to configure it and how to speed it up.

for everyone whos having trouble, just do what he said and one more thing...if it gets laggy again, press the turbo button for a few secs and play normally!! check on hotkey config to see what is the button(probably the tab button)

Guys the best thing to do is put it horizontal and put maximize the window. Just go to View, then highlight LCDs Layout and press Horizontal. That is what I prefer But choice is yours. Hope this helps.

Thank you SO much for making this! I have been searching high and low for ways to fix this lag problem, and this video was the one that finally solved it. I'm not sure which piece of the video actually solved it, but what I did was uninstall DeSmuME completely, and started from scratch while watching your video. You sir, have earned a subscriber!

Oh wow, that's right. Since I had uninstalled IZArc (which is the one I use in this video), I forgot that I was still using it in this video. Anyways, if you watch my newest videos, you'll see that I use WinRAR.

Also, I'll try to make a new video explaining how to use the codes.

You could turn off the sound, but aside from that, there is nothing you can do.

However, you could clean your computer or do anything to make it faster. Also, did you make sure to click the Power icon at the bottom-right part of your monitor and tick "High Performance"?

That's not a matter of them having a set of hardware, it's a matter of said hardware not being the most compatible. Contrary to popular belief, not all hardware does the same thing as the next, which is why emulating games is such a fickle task. You're basically processing AT LEAST 2x as much as what you'd think, and this is being generous to the programmers.

If you're using a laptop, make sure it's plugged in. This solved the entire lag issue for me.

I figured out what was wrong, I accidentally activated the cheats, and were affecting the game movies for some reason. Good info on the video by the way, couldn't use most of it on my new PC, but I did take a few hints that were useful, thanks.
