A few years ago, I was at a coffee shop where some people were filming. The difference? They got permission from the owners and made sure customers were aware and ok with being in the background. It was cool. They filmed, while I sat at a table with my coffee and laptop and tried not to mess up their shots.

I worked in fast food 30 years ago, and I refused to be a front worker because of how bad customers acted back then. I feel SO SORRY for those workers now. I cannot imagine how hard this is to put up with when you barely make enough to pay your bills and your job already sucks.

I agree— the coffee shop, library, book store, etc… public places where the proper etiquette is to be considerate of others who are having quiet conversations, reading, studying, etc… and not make the space about you only.
