The deck is like incredible, iv'e tested for a few weeks and has everything. It may not be tier 1 but i'm telling you: this year we are getting some tournaments won by appmon. My advice is to go full on consistency, play every red, black and green card and just a few Calendamon and Sociamon (Gossipmon OP) and play 2 to 3 Garnet Memory Boost, and everything else 4x.

Appmon, like Digimon, are programmed in different languages. It's like Appmon are in Java and Digimon are in assembly language. You can also see this in the models of Globemon and WarGreymon in the episode where WarGreymon appears—not as a Digimon, but as a playable character in a game that Haru used to play. Technically, Appmon are written in the same language that Wizardmon, Medieval, and other Digimon from Witchenly use to make spells.

That's the reason why they don't share the same stages, and also why they don't digivolve like other Digimon. Instead, they need to AppGattai/AppFuse, and this is only possible with specific Appmon—the more powerful, the more specific, otherwise, they can only do Applink, which is something like a JoJo's Bizarre stand.. That being said, Appmon don't have a Lv7 stage. Globemon, as a Digimon, has a power level similar to Lv6 and is near Lv7, like Omnimon/Omegamon.

As far as "cooking up any ideas" for the deck, not gonna lie but outside of the 3 musketeer based appmon, you could just run literally every appmon card in the set (with sociamon and gaiamon at 3) and you just have a deck.
It feels weird to have so many digimon at first, but because you have so many ways to fuse things it doesnt feel as cloggy as a dna deck, especially because you dont HAVE to appfuse, its just way cheaper if you do.
Also the deck is pretty good at doing a basic 2 shot kill, by doing a globemon combo for 2 checks and clearing out the board, and then again doing globemon for 2 but then appfusing into Gaiamon, trashing top security then swinging for game.
I could go on and on about the playstyle, but the most i can really say is the deck is pretty explosive once you find your tamer, and gets crazier if you have the tamer and the 'App link" delay option.

Any appmon can link, but only specific appmon can fuze anf go up a level. (It's a big deal)

Several times through the series, the protagonists link together to increase in power (raise DP) but dont go up to another form.

Appmon is my favorite season of Digimon and i HIGHLY recommend it. The characters have big personalities, the battles are fun, and the tamers even get interfaces to help out in the battle.

Thanks for the clarity on a lot of these, East. One question I have that wasn't answered was does the power boost from linking apply on all turns, or just your own? Having an 8k Lv4 vs a 6k could be pretty big

Just for clarification, App Fusion is functionally a regular digivolution and not something like DNA right? Meaning the digimon remains suspended and retains summoning sickness and stuff like that right?

Rules question: if i have a gaiamon with a timemon linked with it. If i link a second card to it does that trigger timemons "when linking" ability or is that only when timemon himself is linked to the card. Thank you
