Elena gave Sofia the amulet so she can not use it's powers without wearing it.
the only reason she can see spirt guides and ghosts (only on Día de Muertos ) is because she was in the amulet for 41 years "absorbing power" truth is I think the amulet gave Elena some of its powers cause it wanted to stay with Sofia but knew Elena would need some extra help.

After Elena was freed from the Amulet, the Amulet no longer cursed the wearer for bad deeds. This could mean that Elena was the one doing the cursing in the first place.

Actually if watch the sofia/elena piolet movie to the very end, you will see that Elena allows Sofia to keep the Amulet of Avalor. The reason she can see Zuzo, and can use the scepture of Light is because there is still magic inside after being stuck in the amulet for 41 years. Not because she still wheres it, because she doesn't. As I said before she gave it to Sofia.

Who thinks that Elena was Destined To protect the kingdom of Avalor with her friends. It’s kind of a coincidence that Elena was 16 when she got put into the amulet and was freed during the year where all of her friends were 16... she wasn’t freed a few years before or after.
Because if she hadn’t been stuck in her amulet for that long or not at all her story would be totally different and she would have never had many adventures and she probably wouldn’t have met Mateo (or how they meet would be different).

And it’s kind of funny that this show came out in 2016

Elena doesn't have the amulet anymore. Also after elena was set free the color changed from purple to pink. Elena also gave the amulet to Sofia. So sofia is the sole owner of the amulet NOT Elena.

I stopped watching after they were mean to Estabone (sorry if I spelled his name wrong). They didn’t listen to him or his concerns and they pushed him to the dark side. He felt alone and they were going to send him to an island to be alone forever. (This is from what I remember which isn’t much because I have a bad memory).

It would have been great if you did more research. On one hand her scepter is called the "Scepter of Light". Your pronounciation was just distracting. Secondly, Elena will become queen at 21 and won't need a man for that. As of "Song of the Sirenas" Elena is 18. Her group of friends is known as the Great Council. Your worst mistake was about the amulet. It was red before Shuriki trapped her in there, when it changed to purple. After she was freed a bit of her magic stayed behind, turning it pink. After Shuriki was defeated for he first time in Elena's television movie, she allowed Sofia to keep it. It is not in Elena's possession anymore. The ability to see chanuls and ghosts, which she can only see on Dia de Los Muertos, stems from being trapped in the amulet so long and being infused with some of its magic. Lastly, not every episode includes a song, "The Tale of the Golden Gecko" doesn't.

My two most favorite princesses are Jasmine and Tiana. Jasmine is the first strong independent princess that can keep up with the main hero and work side by side with him. Before Mulan, she was the first princess to show that she was willing to fight (even through a few punches). She also set the example of marrying out of love instead of marrying a prince (every other princess before her wanted to swept off their feet by a prince). Instead of following cultural trends, she boldly chose to wear whatever she wanted to wear, setting a good example for kids who want to fit in. She's smart, using her skills to outsmart both Aladdin and Jafar. She, like so many other princesses, serve as an excellent role model for women. On the other hand, Tiana is also a great princess. She's sweet and kind but also sassy. Unlike some characters that were made to be a token black females, Tiana is well developed characters that isn't defined by her race and gender but what she does and how she overcomes them. She's a strong female character that not only serves as a role model for women but also men. We all can relate to Tiana whether we are boys or girls. She teaches us that even though it's good to have faith in something we desire, in order to achieve our goals, we got to put forth the effort and work hard at it. Additionally, she has to learn that working hard is always important, it's also important to not let life pass you by. That's why I think she's a good role model and one of my favorite princesses from Disney, second only to Jasmine.

the songs from the special' Song of the sirenas' is pretty good especially A New Tale. Gina Rodriguiz is a pretty good singer.
