I remember this tune from the tender age of 7, I loved this song, it still kicks ass, a lot of people say “ oh they were just a one hit wonder and I always say better one than none “ and look how many hits it’s gotten amazing, a lot of the people from that era are either too old or dead but they remember it

Out of curiosity, was there ever a live audio track for this or was it make-believe all along? It doesn’t look like they were actually playing their instruments (which I know was incredibly common on 1960s variety shows), but just thought I’d ask.
