In the 1800s, a lively young princess named Elisabeth, or Sisi, lived in Bavaria. Unlike most princesses, she loved riding horses and exploring nature, not fancy balls.
One day, a handsome emperor named Franz Joseph from Austria saw Sisi and fell in love. Though shy, Sisi became Empress.

I went to Vienna and Hungary in 1999. It was her 100th birthday I think. I saw all the huge paintings of her in Schon Brun. What a true beauty she was.

Elisabeth of Austria, Empress Sissi, and Sissi Queen of Hungary! She was one of my favorite queens. I saw the 3 movies which were made in the 50s with actress Romy Schneider playing Sissi. She was a Queen ahead of her time, who exercised everyday, took showers rather than bath since she asked to be installed a shower in her private bathroom, something similar to the showers we use today. Sissi was indeed an animal lover but hated the protocol and restrictions of the monarchy and preferred the simple life.

Unfortunately, she was stabbed to death by an Italian anarchist while walking on the sidewalk accompanied by her maid.

There should be descendants of Sissi having 4 children and being so closed to the 1900s. But her son died young being an adult, and so her younger daughter who was only 3 years-old.

LOVE Sissi, being down to earth, very beautiful woman, and so kind and caring Queen who loved animals. The people loved Sissi and the Hungarian people loved her also. As I said above, Sissi was my favorite Queen!

May God blessed her soul for all her eternity 🙏🌹
