In this video, I install VirtualBox and setup a Kali Linux virtual machine. This allows you to run Linux commands and use all kinds of hacking and security tools without needing a second computer or having a dedicated Linux environment.
There is plenty of documentation available to setup a virtual machine from scratch, but Kali Linux offers some pre-built virtual images that you can import directly into either VirtualBox or VMWare. This is great for beginners or anyone who wants to get up and running with a Linux environment as quickly as possible.
