OBERAARHORN 3631m / From Oberaarsee via Oberaarhutte / Bernese Alps

OBERAARHORN is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, that lies on the border between cantons of Bern and Valais. Very beautiful "CLASSIC" alpine tour in this region. We have started at the "Berghaus Obeaar" and hiked alongside lake oberaar direct to the glacier's foot.
After we have gear ourselves, we have continued the hike on the GLACIER, carefuly watching out for crevasses until we have arrived to Oberaarjoch. From there a secured path (ladders, rope) led us to direct the hut.
