Last week, I've been contemplating to pick between iPad Air or the Tab S9 but I ended up pre-ordering the base Tab S9 yesterday. The free memory and ram upgrade from the pre-order bonus is a really sweet deal for me. Another selling point for me aside from the freebies is that it comes with S-pen out of the box!

I love that the smaller size 11in finally gets OLED. Which is weird cause the Galaxy Tab S6 had AMOLED so I don't know why Samsung have been skipping out on an OLED display in the tabs S7 & S8

On paper the tab s9 ultra caught my attention. And since I’m in the market for a new tablet as my iPad Pro 12.9 gen 1 has lost its usefulness of not staying charged I decided I would check out theses Samsung tablets. I liked the specs so much I decided I would order one. Samsung offered me a great trade in price and my educational discount making this table affordable for what you get plus the 50 off for the reservation. Plus the 25 off by using the app. I can’t wait for it to arrive. I also bought a Galaxy s23 ultra at release and have been highly impressed with it. Apple has just lost its touch of being a high end product.

I ordered the Tab S9 Ultra the day it was announced, and received it two days later. It wasn't too expensive with the trade in of my S8 Ultra and an older S7 I had lying around. With the added launch discounts, I ended up paying 433 Euros for the 16GB Ram, 1T storage S9 ultra with the slim keyboard cover.

It's a beast, just like the previous one was. I was missing the ability to remove the screen-covering part of the cover I had with the full keyboard cover (a freebie when the S8 Ultra launched). So, I just ordered and received today the simple Hybrid Smart Cover, as well as the Note View Cover.

I'm getting the best deal possible: The backside part of the smart cover accomodates the new camera design of the S9, and is my favorite way to use the tablet for media and browsing (back cover only, naked screen). It holds the pen fast and always charged. If I need a keyboard, the front part of the S8 Ultra full keyboard+track-pad cover fits and works just fine! For drawing and taking notes, the note view cover feels even betterthan the naked screen, and reduces glare.

I have the Tab S6 which is pretty good, but now not getting anymore software updates and security updates. Also, wanted the software and hardware to match my S23 phone I just got on a great trade in for my S22 plus, so I pre-order the Tab S9. Should be here next week.

I preordered the Tab S9. It will be a nice upgrade over my Tab S6. I never wanted the base s7/s8 because of fhe lcd displays.

No need to upgrade my s8+ but I will say I agree it is the best tablet, my wife has an iPad pro, and while it may be powerful, other than the one last app she needs for work being iOS only for now... The s8 is better to use in every other way.

I pre-ordered s9 at $683 in India, apple m2 pro was $900+ in India, that too with back to school, base variant.
It's my first expensive TAB ever, i never had pre-ordered any gadget yet, soo excited.
It feels bad to read the subject line saying the cheapest, although true.
It's expensive for me.

If apple pro would've came with similar pricing I would had to give a thought but damm.
Spen, amoled, gen 2, in build fingerprint, latest tech. i am very tempted to buy.

My S9+ just got delivered like 60 minutes ago. I got a deal -50€ 2x Storage (256GB->>512GB) and the 180€ Slim Keyboard Book case for a total 1069€. Thats not bad considering the 12.4" and 512GB Storage and 12GB RAM.

All Samsung devices with SDcard slots are not rated for.. but can accept up to 2TB of storage space if it is available. It says on the box up to a specific amount because at current that size SDcard is available to consumers. Pro-summers have higher storage amounts available at a premium price: those people are usually professional photographers. This is so for even the oldest devices, like the Samsung Galaxy S2 phone

Funny how you downplay the ability to upgrade the memory, "a little", like a 1Tb of memory is a little. As if you will ever be able to upgrade the memory on any Apple tablet (or laptop) ever.
