Telling Lies Speedrun in 4:26

I couldn't find any speedruns of this game online, so I routed and ran it myself. The videos are worth different amounts of "points" towards the in game clock, and a certain total is required to finish the game. The idea of my route was to pick keywords that resulted in high scoring videos with minimal overlap. The goal was to minimize the number of searches, since the loading animation for searching is longer than any time loss due to typing longer words. I suspect there are faster routes but it would take more effort than I was willing to put in to find them. The keywords I used were: water is, glowy, paul, asshole, max, truth, valentine, motherfucker, dead, facebook, sleepy, running. I started time when clicking start from the menu, and ended time when clicking proceed to upload the files (this is the final input).

The fun thing about this is how obvious it makes it that the clock is rubber-banded based on your progression.

From the first time the game let you take control to the last time, it was like 3:20. I don’t think the intro should have to count if the final cutscene doesn’t.
