They are not doing ETF to help bitcoin market. Make no mistake about that. Bitcoin doesn't need an ETF, institutions need an ETF.

It looks like we are going in the exact opposite direction that Satoshi intended us to go... begging for institutional acceptance, and giving power to the same old few instead to give power back to the people.

The reason I’m such a big fan is that you always consider and bring up very valid points that very few people consider 🙏🏻 Thank you!

There is no escaping this guys. I respect Andreases points but I think it's a good thing. This is a way for them to get into Bitcoin. Dipping your feet in. Eventually they will come full circle and own their own keys. This is a necessary step in our evolution.

You are not alone, I also hate the idea of Bitcoin ETFs. Keep up the awsome job you do!

This is a very good analysis! I never thought of it like this. I've heard the "not your keys, not your bitcoin" part, but the insight into different versions is a new one for me.

ETF’s are just part of the process. Its a positive thing. ETF proves mainstream. We should be happy. We can’t have it all and want it all. Mainstream means mainstream including ETF’s

The only reason people are waiting for ETF is because of get rich quick mentallity, they hope bitcoin goes up fast after ETF so that they can sell their bitcoins for more dollars. They don't care about bitcoin itself. They love dollars

As always, well said! Thanks A2! Burst my bubble, but only slightly. I think once the ETF is passed for the CBOE, if issues that you are concerned with are not addressed, there will be other exchanges that will give the fund managers the right to allow the bitcoin fund's owners the right to vote so that people who care will go to that fund. Supply and demand. The centralization of control certainly is possible with the ETF, but once there is plenty of competition, the more liberal exchanges will hopefully win the competition.

Holds very true especially around this time when a decision is due from the SEC.
