Vegas just wants a franchise. They don't care what a sad owner Fisher is. That's why I'm glad they'll be getting what they deserve. He won't spend any more money on talent than he's spending in Oakland. Once the novelty of having a team wears off, Vegas will realize they got conned, but won't care. A new baseball stadium will be the same as opening another giant casino. MLB going there will be different than the Raiders. The Raiders could have moved to Fresno and still had a following. Vegas should have held for an expansion team the city could claim as it's own. Most of the baseball fans in Vegas are from Souther Cal and don't give a damn about the A's. Good luck with Fisher!

Interesting, how Vegas suddenly became a hot destination when Manfred's buddy showed interest...yet when early talks of expansion came up, it was mostly Nashville, Charlotte and Portland.

Very good video Kasey, Fisher and Kaval ripped the heart out of Oakland. I was following the A's on twitter and a few Las Vegas pages and it sounds like a lot of Las Vegas residents really don't want the A's in Vegas. They know what Fisher and Kaval are going to do and are still really upset about the Raiders deal as its a sore spot. The majority of Las Vegas residents would rather see the money go into the schools out there. I really think Fisher should just sell the team he hasn't put anything on the field that is good. I will keep watching your videos and I hope that the A's stay but I am not sure if the damage is to far gone for many die hard fans like you to come back.

As you get older you will realize that all sports are nothing more than a business and many teams will not hesitate to move. It will always come down to money. Don't let your teams moving cause you to view sports in a negative way and continue to support what you love.

Fisher not going to invest in Oakland or Las Vegas. He wants to money. Like San Jose earthquake

This sucks. It sucks for you and it sucks for the passionate Oakland fanbase. I'm hurting for you man.

On a positive note, the Sharks and Warriors are still very close. And at least the A's are joining the Raiders again. Whether or not you eventually come to the conclusion of sticking to the A's and Raiders are your primary MLB/NFL teams, it could've been a lot worse if they moved to two different cities instead of just one.

I hope the A's can string together one world series run before they go.

A ballpark at Howard Terminal always felt too good to be true. Congrats on going to college in SoCal

Rebuilding at coliseum? Where would As play for that time period?

Horrible news. Unfair to the fans and the city of Oakland. Thanks for breaking it down so well.

I hope LV and the State of Nevada are smart enough to realize that the A's have no leverage in this situation. They want $500 million in tax credits from NV but they just burned the bridge with OAK and its fanbase.

Fisher: worst owner in baseball. Have fun Vegas! Fisher is yours!!!

Oakland if they want a baseball team just buy the history, team logos, etc like Cleveland did in 1996 and hold it for a future MLB expansion team.

I simply can't stop rooting for the A's, I've been an Oakland A's fan my entire life, and I just can't burn my gear and join another team. Maybe I feel that way because I live in Vegas now (not for the Raiders, my dad relocated us there for work reasons), but I've been repping this team my whole life, and I can't bear the thought of rooting for someone else.

No way I could cheer for the A's after they leave, especially in Vegas after they took the Raiders. Warriors are different IMO.
