He is right... i workout 5-6 days a week and run on my off days, if you eat healthy and get enough sleep your body wont need stimulations cause you wont feel like shit

He ain’t lyin. I work at a hotel and the shifts switch around a lot. I wake up at 330am-5am, so my sleep is very varied. Significant differences in getting 4-5hrs of sleep vs 7-8, consistently. Prolly the biggest change a person can make. Anxiety dissipates along with weird random aches, low will power, intrusive thoughts aren’t as loud.

He is on juice but he's right. The quality of my sleep the night before is the best predictor of whether or not I have a good session. Plus pre is mostly just caffeine so I just have a double shot before.

Pre-workout has benefits not just during your workout but post workout as well.

I actually do agree with him on this. I’ve been at points where my diet was super on point, no drugs, booze, sleep was on point and my workouts and physique were amazing. I’ve taken citrulline malate, beta alanine, beet root as pre workout and I’ve also trained some time without it and honestly the difference is not significant at all. I’ve had some of my best workouts and pumps by just being on point with my diet and recovery. The supplements are no magic. They could help, but also a lot of them don’t have a night snd day difference and just end up being a waste of money.

It’s not that it’s not necessary but if you add it on top of a healthy life style you will see greater benefits.

Caffeine is better not taken before a workout as it restricts blood flow. Therefore leading to not as good a pump, sea salt on pre workout meal or a pinch of in water and slam it before a workout. Plus plenty of water.

A good pump formula will help anyone’s lift, including someone on gear. Mike is like vshred in the sense that he likes to make his own science for fitness.

Best pre workout is to get your
Blood pumping
I work 7-4 as a tradie
I’d say very physical work
I still go in every day after work
Sometimes I get wrecked at work but I know as long as I walk in that gym start getting a pump/heat up
I’ll be good
