Any reason why you didnt start i = 1 in your loop with i <= calendarDays? or just preference?

you could initlize the loop counter (var i) from 1 if you do that you will no need to add 1 every time you use i.

Interesting! One question though: why did you write "repeat(4, 25%)" for the columns instead of using fractions? Is there a specific reason for that, or is it just for the sake of variety?
