Predator 212 Stage 1 (hemi) plus eBay torque converter install.

Out with the old and in with the new at TheJanticJournal. We finally get around to putting the brand new Predator 212 hemi from harbor freight on the whirlwind mini bike. Using some parts from the Honda clone motor Joey's putting on the trike, we also upgraded it with a stage one kit and OMB throttle kit. A little rejetting and this is a strong running motor with lots of bottom end power. We also went ahead and installed a new eBay torque-a-verter straight from eBay.

That throttle kit is solid I have the same one on my mini bike.

I got basically the same setup on my coleman ct200u....bought the bike for $150 with a bad engine...got a new 212cc predator for $100....ordered the torque converter off eBay for $50 shipped...a higher quality belt for $18 and a 1" engine rising kit from GPS for $20....its been rock solid for 2 months.

I’m currently building a minibike and I’m almost done. I ordered the same torque converter today and from what I’ve heard, the belt is the only problem and I guess they burn up quick. Someone said they bought a genuine comet belt for their ebay torque converter and they said it does fine. Just a heads up so you guys aren’t surprised in the future if the belt burns up quick. ;)

I just got a TAV for my coleman...im gonna swap out the motor to a 212....i got the riser blocks and i think im set to go...im a little nervous about the throttle cable on the new engine....only reason i want to leave the original 196cc in the bike, is just because im a little unsure about the throttle cable and how to mount it on the carb....

I liked.your video but you bought the half plate throttle linkage and just hooked it to the shity stalk throttle linkage you could have removed the original not just added to the linkage now you have double lol did anyone else see this
