I beat Radahn first try after putting on Gwyn's theme

I was ready to give up for the night and as a joke to keep myself going a little longer I turned off the music in-game and played Gwyn's theme instead and, no joke, got him first try. It even synced up perfectly with the timing, with the song ending as soon as the fight did.

I didn't first try the boss in general. This boss fight took me MANY attempts.I meant I beat him first, try after I put on the music.

Honestly it's super refreshing not seeing a super high effort no-hit run. I was the same where it was a lot of hitting him for all I can, getting smacked for most of my HP, and then frantically chugging. I also got the kill after my last flask and man what a feeling

When you think about it, the only ones who honestly respected Radahn in his family were Mohg, Melina, and Messmer, by just not being a jerk to him. Mohg just wanted to create a place for the rejected to belong and live with pride, Melina loved the Lands Between and was willing to sacrifice herself for it, and Messmer was friends with his friends and really just minded his own business.

sort of fits this fight thematically. Here you are fighting a puppeted corpse whose soul is likely unwillingly being used for another's gain when it probably just wants to finally rest. Sort of sounds similar in vibes to Gwyn's situation in terms of mood or tone.
