La gestione del rischio: una visione comparativa del GDPR e della proposta di Regolamento UE sull’IA

As part of the "Privacy in the digital age" seminar organized by ELSA International and ELSA Turin for the celebration of ELSA Day, the session "Cyber-security and data processing policies in multinational companies" took place on November 19th, 2021 with the speakers Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno and Dr. Elisa Liberale, Head Legal of Microsoft Italy. Prof. Avv. Alessandro del Ninno has discussed a lecture entitled "Risk management: a comparative perspective between the GDPR and the EU proposal for a Regulation on Artificial Intelligence". The intervention focused on the different approach to risk that the European legislator introduced in the regulatory construction of the GDPR and of the proposal for a General Regulation on Artificial Intelligence and highlighted points of divergence and points of contact between the two legal frameworks.
