South Africa: ANC lose majority in election for first time in 30 years

The African National Congress - once the party of Nelson Mandela - has lost its majority after seeing dwindling support and poor voter turnout.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has indicated he will not resign despite calls for him to go.

The ANC has had a majority since 1994.
