WHEN IS LENT 2025, AND WHY IS LENT NOT 46 BUT 40 DAYS?

Lord Jesus, walk with me during these forty days of Lent that i may be drawn closer to Thee in Spirit and in my flesh.

Lent starts Ash wednesday, March 5.
It is 40 days because Sundays are not counted. They are Holy Days, for me Mass.
