OMG I got chills all over..My city...I was born in Versailles...and lived 5 minutes away from the Chateau and it's forever long parks and the famous pond/lake. I hope you visited Marie Antoinette 's little Auberge...A little village right next to the chateau ...It was created for her so she could escape to her little farm house.

It's been over 20 years since I've been to Versaille (summer abroad in college as a lame 21 yr old) I will never forget it. While I loved the interior. The gardens and all the little ponds and cottages (there were so many brides getting their photos taken) on the property was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to see all the footage and goodies you share!

I think Covid has finally gotten to me, my heart yearns for days and days of travel to all the places of my family heritage. Having spent the past year tracing my ancestors, I am ready to discover all their villages and towns. I have been to Paris but was only there for a short stop after Italy, so didn’t make it to Versailles or to Monets garden. Hope you made it to a few museums and of course the Eiffel Tower. Wasn’t the metal work magnificent! I took some lovely pictures of it. Love Paris! Bon Jour!
