Woohoo! Due to popular demand we will continue our epic journey in Avalon into Chapter 2 of the Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon created by Krzysztof Piskorski & Marcin Świerkot and published by Awaken Realms!

"Tainted Grail is co-operative board game for 1-4 people, that will take you to the fantasy grim-dark re-imagination of King Arthur legends. You will create one of the members of B-team, outcasts, that must rise to a challenge and figure out the secret behind fading Menhirs (guardian statues) and try to save their village and perhaps whole Avalon in the process.

Tainted Grail combines exploration, survival, character development, immersive storytelling and card-driven combat and non-combat encounters into adventure experience set in original universe.

During the course of the game, you will develop your hero, explore new location set on tarot-size cards, manage your resources, develop your attributes as well as customize your combat and none combat decks. Advance exploration will direct you to choose your own adventure journal with a lot of different directions you will be able to take."

Corrections: I believe I missed accounting for the negative of Festering Wounds. I’ll adjust my energy to make up for this at the start of the next video. The Hammer I used when up against the Wisp would have added 2 to the value making it easier for me.

Gained a subscriber here and clicked the YouTube bell. Videos very clean and visual easy to follow, audio is clear. Also really grateful for your clean language. Lots of reviewers cuss which really brings down the professionalism. Keep up the good work. I feel comfortable watching with my younger kids.

Thanks for keeping going. Really enjoying your playthrough, and almost certain to pledge for the big add-on, unless I really really hate it! I also spotted the chance to use Feint in the battle with the puffins, and was almost shouting at the screen! That's a good sign you've got my attention :)

1:02:45 - the hammer should've added +2. It really doesn't matter as the wisp still dies anyway :)

Love your content. Something I've noticed in this game (and many others as well) is that they are now so complicated that it is almost impossible not to miss some rules and doing so can easily be the difference between success and failure. In this game you seem to keep going exhausted (by choice) but then forgetting the character's festering wound and you would be in a very different position if you had remembered that rule.

I love watching these. I can't stop! I think you missed taking a damage from your weakness again by getting exhausted at 47:00 which I think means you should have drawn the dying card because you missed the damage on the last time you slept exhausted :P also since your terror was above your health before eating shouldn't you have had a nightmare? And does your horn say at the beginning of your turn or at the end of your turn if your last card has a courage?

I really enjoy this series. The RNG in the game seems to be manageable and I like the push-your-luck mechanics the game has.
If they have a late pledge manager, I will consider getting it, but most likely without the minis as they don't seem to be that important for someone to enjoy the game.
Great intro too. I forgot to mention that in the previous videos.

The festering wounds weakness is a bit tricky though. Technically, if you are at 1 health and you try to rest, because your energy would be pretty low and you would be exhausted, it means you could go into dying by losing a health from the weakness. Maybe they should add a note that the weakness should be ignored at 1 and/or 2 health.

Doesn't the "Festering wound" affect Your healing when resting?

Awesome first part to chapter 2. Though with the needed fixes to the festering wounds acting up were going to be 2 hp lower than what was shown at the end of the video. Still no nightmares which Im both happy and sad about lol. Def keep in mind about the hammers increased bonus to purple encounters. Keep up the awesome epic work. If i hadnt already backed the kickstarter before these videos id sure as hell be backing it now.

At 33:00 couldn't you just have connected Intimidate to Faint to Defend? That makes sure that you win the encounter in the next round, because the enemy will try and fail to counter Faint and it will become +2 for a total of 7.

Hey Adam, love the videos! I just thought I noticed something when you were fighting the puffins, when you went down to 1 health was your terror not above your health? I understand that it's still at 0 but would that still make you panic and draw 1 less card?

You say in the first combat you would die but really you "just" draw the "near death" card which gives you options to come back, no? Or is that only outside of combat?
