NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope is ending science operations after nine years in deep space. Kepler has discovered more than 2,600 planets during its mission, many of which could be promising places for life. NASA will retire the spacecraft into a safe orbit away from Earth.

The Kepler telescope lacked Duracell batteries :/

Why is it and many other things are not attached to ISS 2 which is connected to ISS but not crucial so that in case of emergency, it will be easier to move for ISS Main without it.
