I think something wrong was said in the video: the presentator said that for the first time in history, South Korea has more younger people than older people, when it's actually the opposite.

Their was a time when South Korea was a very poor nation. The North was actually better off due to support from the Soviet Union. And now it's one of the most technologically advanced countries on the planet.

Yeah, because the birth rate is so low, some of my friends that are teachers lost their jobs. No kids to teach in their school!

Okay, I gotta make this clear. About 2 years ago, when I was writing my thesis, I did a little bit of research about South Korea's plastic surgery and it turns out, those numbers don't really represent what really is going on. Yes, South Koreans do have more cosmetic procedures done compared to the rest of the world, but those numbers don't all mean they get a nose-job or a major plastic surgery done; because South Korea's healthcare in South Korea is readily accessible and more affordable, South Koreans go to the doctors a lot more often and that includes plastic surgeons, too. Also, the number includes simple procedures like whitening, anti-aging, and other non-invasive treatments, so it is quite exaggerated than what it actually is.

Why does the picture of Soju show Soju made in North Korea. It says Pyongyang in big letters on the box.

I am Korean. There’s a lot of wrong points about plastic surgery in this video.

Koreans, Be proud!! Korea was the most poorest country in the world 1950’s but we made it now! Look at the countless buildings and fancy cars and highly educated people. And we can still be developed. Let’s work hard until other countries praise our achievement!!

They do not get double eyelid surgery to look western. Oriental eyes do naturally come as double eyelids, and that is their version of beauty. None of the koreans look remotely western after plastic surgery and nor do they want to. They are very much proud of their ethnicity.

It's not that bad. It's Asia's 4th largest economy, and it's the world's 11th or 10th largest economy, depending on the metric. The mass transit is efficient, and thanks to the KTX (it's essentially the Korean equivalent to the Japanese 'Bullet Train' or France's TGV) you can get anywhere withing the country in about 3 1/2 hours. The food is good, the people are standoffish at first, but they are really friendly.
They're not really that worried about North Korea or Kim Jong Un. They're more worried about Trump than anything.
