First time I ever brought my husband (who is Guyanese) to a family party he looked at me and said, “I didn’t know I was going to be watching Dancing with the Stars, what is all this?” I then realized how much partner work is a part of our dancing and culture. I remember watching you dance on the news right before Bella was born. You were super pregnant and in these crazy high heels, doing a story about salsa classes.
