This is a wonderfully diverse collection of tunes that Ravi has assembled. He's cultivated his own voice not only as a perfomer but as well a composer as evidenced by three tunes in the set. The next time that I get up to New York, I'll make it a point to check him out.

I never knew there was a Ravi Coltrane! Fine show! its great he's keeping his dad's legacy alive. He would've been very proud! it's cool too how he looks just like his pops. :)

An amazing concert, I was there when this was recorded, and I was, almost literally, blown away. Perhaps my favorite was a very original and extremely energetic version of Charlie Parker's "Segment", where Ravi Coltrane plays the tiny sopranino saxophone and the other band members also do some great solos. I hope one of the live concerts of his new quartet will soon be on CD. (I have no idea why this video has only 237 views so far).

The comments range from so boring to awesome, so there are mixed opinions . Personally I think Ravi is a great young player with his own style not trying to imitate his famous father and I foresee many years of great music from him to come .

He spent time with Steve Coleman and others, I think to find himself. Which is great. Kudos Mr. Ravi Coltrane...

Sweet! Ravi is on an Eb soprano. He's one of my all time favorite soprano players!!! The only cat that is "REALLY" allowed to play his "Pops" licks.
