Love one another as I have loved you.

In this week's short Gospel Jesus begins to set the stage for his Ascension into heaven. Despite being a short Gospel it contains a crucial command from Jesus; Love one another as I have loved you.
It sounds so simple and beautiful, but let us be honest it is not easy to love others with the same type of love Jesus gives to us. That self less, unconditional love Je-sus gives us, he now commands we give one another. Jesus has not given us an impossible command, he simple just asks us to give what we have already received.
