It's so true. All through covid I worked at a hospital, and I was sometimes the only one that showed up in the office because either ppl were afraid to come in or they were sick with covid... and it occured to me just now that I was never afraid. Thank you Lord Jesus for protecting me all along and giving me my strong faith.

I spent my life in the health care field. I learned early there are conditions FAR worse than death. The Word says: "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". There is a place of no pain, sickness, sorrow or death; in heaven I'll need a career change, praise King Jesus! Call us ALL home soon.

At the beginning of covid I spent many times sitting down with different clients who asked me why am I not afraid what an opportunity to talk to him about Jesus!

The pandemic opened my eyes to this, too. In my observation, believers in Christ went about life as normal as possible and trusted in Him, but people of little or no faith were panicked. In their panic, they lashed out in anger at those of us not panicked. I learned that people I thought were believers had been pretending to be Christian for years. I’m still grieving the loss of friendships over all this. One person in particular taught Christian catechism for her entire career, yet she was the most fearful person I witnessed during the pandemic. She stayed home for near two years, only going out to have online grocery orders loaded into her car. I’ve seen her once during the whole time - we had to stay outside masked 10 feet away. Very sad.

I almost died about a year ago, and while I am a very strong Christian, the thought I could be dying was not pleasant, it was very frightening. So have some flipping compassion on those who don't want to die but want to live. Life is a gift. Let's not take it for granted.
