So where are the bmw fanboys now that were talking shit about the 2L 4 cilinder engine and sound of the A35? And Audi is going to be next. I already heard about it multiple times at dealerships that chances are pretty high the next RS3 will also be a 2L 4cilinder engine. Why does this even come as a surprise? They have been downsizing engines for years now, even on the bigger models. Well except for this one, the power did go up though. The A45s even pushes 421hp out of a 2L, wouldn’t be surprised if Audi is going to do the same or even a bit more. Audi and Mercedes have been taking turns on most hp for a while now. There are positive things about these engines though, but you just have to take care of the car. I see so many guys flooring their hothatch after a cold start or flooring it at every red light to do a sprint. They also call their selves “car guys”, but don’t even know why it’s important to have a good oil temperature before flooring it. Manufacturers even had to do something about it, so the car won’t brake down before the end of the waranty xD Many cars already have a limiter in terms of the power output when everything isn’t on the right temperature yet. Same with launch control that doesn’t work on a cold engine. Besides that the launch control isn’t healthy for the car anyway.

the 140i had a great engine but the chassis and handling wasn't great, this new one handles and rides so much better

You guys need to keep in mind that the manufactuerers need to build their cars according to some rules set from the government, BUT this bmw looks like a ford and has fwd? It doesnt matter if m or not, this is bad BMW.
