Finding shinies is a great hobby after beating the game. Once all you have left is catching every Pokemon, shiny hunting is awesome. I, myself have shiny hunted. It feels awesome to here the sound effect and see the sparkle.

100 hours of doing as much as you possibly can. It feels long but it’s really not when there is so much to do like shiny hunting, all the requests, and just beating the story in general can take a long time. It’s just fantastic how they manage to fit all of this in one Pokémon game.
