This hotel in Germany, has witnessed many transformations over the years. Old postal cards reveal it was already alive with energy back in the 1930s, a cherished retreat at the foot of a ski slope. Winter sports enthusiasts from near and far filled its halls, their excitement echoing through the mountain air.

But the transformation didn’t end with the exterior. Inside, the contrast is even more striking. Where once the hotel rooms were filled with guests, and the restaurant brimmed with the lively murmur of conversation and the gentle chime of glasses, now, only silence remains. Its doors closed for the final time at the turn of 2005, leaving behind a place where the halls have long been devoid of any activity for nearly two decades.
The competition grew fierce. Dozens of hotels sprang up around it, swallowing its guests and its future. And now, the outlook for this once-vibrant refuge seems bleak.

Loved these hotel buildings! I hope they could be made operational again! Loved the painted furnishings. Maybe if the restuarant was first renovated and reopened it could generate an enough income to help to renovate the rest of these two building. Thank you gentleman for this fantastic exploration! So awesome to explore a hotel. Definitely something different. So sad what people have done to the interior with the fire extinguishers. I really like to toll painting on the beds and wardrobes in the second building. My mother-in-law used to do toll painting. The restaurant makes me want German food.
